What is psychotherapy?

Psychotherapy, also known as talk therapy, is a collaborative process where you work with a licensed therapist to explore thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and relationships.

At Generational Wellness Center, therapy is trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and tailored to your unique needs and goals.

What types of therapy do you offer?

We offer individual therapy, family therapy, couples therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy — all conducted virtually for New Jersey and New York residents.

Do you offer in-person sessions?

At this time, we provide telehealth therapy only to clients located in New Jersey and New York. Sessions are conducted securely via a HIPAA-compliant video platform — accessible from the comfort of your home.

Who do you work with?

We work with teens, adults, couples, and families. We proudly serve the LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and neurodivergent communities, creating a supportive and affirming space for healing.

What issues can therapy help with?

Our therapists support clients navigating anxiety, depression, and PTSD; trauma and abuse recovery; relationship challenges and family conflict; identity exploration (including gender, sexuality, and culture); and grief, stress, and life transitions.

Getting Started & Session Costs

How do I get started?

Start by booking a free 15-minute consultation. During this call, you'll discuss your goals, ask questions, and decide if we're a good fit for your needs.

After the consultation, if you choose to move forward, we'll send intake forms and get you set up on our secure client portal.

What are your session rates?

Individual Therapy (45 to 50 minutes): $175 per session
Couples Therapy (60 minutes): $200 per session
Family Therapy (60 minutes): $250 per session

Do you accept insurance?

We are currently a private pay practice and do not accept insurance directly. However, we can provide a superbill upon request, which you may be able to submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We process payments through our secure Electronic Medical Records system (SimplePractice), accepting all major debit and credit cards as well as HSA and FSA cards.

Is my information confidential?

Absolutely. All sessions are conducted on a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform, and your privacy is our top priority. Confidentiality policies and your rights are fully outlined in the intake paperwork you'll complete before your first session.
